1984 was the year of Six Flags Great America’s worst accident. The incident occurred on their former Intamin drop tower, The Edge. Too many, this was an accident that was unheard of at Great America. But the locals who have been visiting the park for decades. They see The Edge as a ride of misery and despair. More than a dozen people were hurt when a ride malfunctioned at Six Flags Great Adventure on Thursday night. CBS2’s Elijah Westbrook spoke exclusively with a park employee who is familiar with the ride’s operations.

After Superman: Tower of Power removed a girls feet on june 21st 2007 many were quick to blame the rides manufacture. In reality had the ride operators done their job this accident could have been prevented.

Woman falls to her death on ‘Texas Giant’ roller coaster ride at Six Flags amusement park.
